Welcome to Stretch class with Heather! Stretching is amazing! It has a lot of perks. Stretching helps us to prevent injury, improve muscle coordination and posture, enhance body and sports performance, increase your range of motion in the joints and muscles, and support mental health.
This Flexibility and Stretch class is a major benefit to have in life because most people suffer from tight muscles, especially if you have a job where you are sitting for most of the day. As we age, if we don’t stretch we lose our flexibility and the only way to prevent our muscles from stiffening is to actively and regularly stretch and activate the muscles, ligaments and joints.
This class is a great class to take before and or after a fitness class. It will help to improve your physical range of motion and prevent injuries due to soreness and stiffness in the body. It’s also a great method to help you with trauma recovery for those who wish to connect with their bodies in safe and loving ways.
This class/event takes place in our outdoor garden that's equipped with space heaters and blankets, please dress accordingly.
