What you'll learn in this meditation class:

This class is a direct result of Sarah Lynn studying Integrative Medicine at George Washington University. It is kind of an "all in one" class. All levels are welcome assuming you can set and maintain your own limits.

The class will feel a bit formulaic, as we are going to follow this formula:

5 minutes of core movements
1 minute intense cardio
1 minute use of Yoga Asanas to create concentric and eccentric muscle strength
Total 10 repetitions of the cardio-asana sequence.
15 minutes of deep, active stretching
15 minute meditation

This helps create cardiometabolic prevention of Diabetes and Metabolic Syndrome, strength training to diminish the possibilities of sarcopenia or dynopenia (are related muscle atrophy), stretching releases endorphins for mood stabilization and the meditation helps improve focus, control, compassion, reduction in HPA axis activation (stress).
