Eric was born in Richmond, Virginia and has a degree in French language from the University of Virginia. He he has studied in both Nantes, France and Rabat, Morocco and went on to use his French skills in the Peace Corps in Dakar, Senegal and later in the professional world working for an agricultural finance company in francophone West Africa. He became interested in teaching while living in Senegal and teaching entrepreneurship and English classes. He received his TEFL upon returning to the United States and also teaches English as a second language professionally. When he's not teaching English, Eric plays in an ultimate frisbee league and enjoys learning other languages by traveling and immersing himself in the target language.
