Laela Sturdy is a Partner at CapitalG (formerly Google Capital) where she leads investments for the firm in growth stage consumer and enterprise companies.

Previously, Laela was a Managing Director of Sales & Business Operations at Google where she helped start, scale, and lead teams in several emerging product areas including video and display advertising, local and SMB services, and mobile commerce.

Prior to Google, Laela was a consultant at Bain & Company where she helped lead projects in a range of industries including media, retail, CPG, and private equity.

Linda Avey is CEO and co-founder of Precise.ly, a San Francisco-based start-up taking consumer genetics to global markets. Her mission to accelerate understanding of the human genome led to the founding of 23andMe, the world's largest direct-to-consumer genetics companies driving research through its customer database.

Prior to 23andMe, Linda spent several decades working in the genetics research industry in all four major US biotech markets (San Francisco, Boston, San Diego, and Washington, DC), spanning the launch and completion of the human genome project and the development of genome-wide research initiatives. She sits on the advisory board of Google's health subsidiary Verily and the Board of Fellows at Stanford Medical School. She was the first independent director at Rock Health and advises several health-focused start-ups.
