Elissa Lieberman
Elissa Lieberman has over 20 years experience teaching painting, drawing, and design. Her favorite subject is figure drawing. Elissa owned and operated the San Diego Art Loft from 2015-2020 when the pandemic made the school close. Elissa ran the art school at the San Diego Museum of Art in 2007-2008. Elissa has been a professor at Delaware College of Art and Design, San Diego State University, Southwestern College, Mesa College, UCSD Continuing Ed, and University of San Diego.
She has also taught extensively in other private studios such as the La Jolla Athenaeum and San Diego Art Department, and US Arts Education. Elissa takes private students in her home studio and in student homes and maintains an active art practice in her home studio.
