Marcia K. Thompson

Marcia K. Thompson, ESQ , has over 20 years of experience helping to transform and create respectful collaborative environments for employees at all levels. Marcia has a background as a civil rights attorney, trainer, facilitator, mediator, ombudsperson, fact-finder, leadership and conflict coach, professor, and conflict management practitioner and consultant. 

Prior to practicing law, Marcia worked for the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) as an Intelligence Research Specialist. In that capacity, she had a variety of assignments and responsibilities, including serving as a collateral duty EEO counselor. Marcia is a U.S. EEOC trained workplace investigator and has also worked as a Federal Hearing Officer, Ombudsperson, and non-profit General Counsel, as well as a litigator in Virginia.
