The class was interesting and low stress. The instructor was friendly and patient. She knew just the right moments to drop in with a helpful tip or correction. She also always provided the reason for the correction.

The instructor was great. The class was small, only 2 students including me. I appreciated the immediate feedback and corrections as well as the dialogue. I will take another class soon.

Israel is a wonderful teacher and I’ve had such a great learning Spanish. I absolutely will continue with the classes.

Jose was a great Teacher! However, the other participant in the class constantly spoke over and interrupted Jose the entire time. The other participant basically hijacked the class to make it his own. It was very disruptive and very aggravating, and really took away from my ability to participate. Out of the 15 pages of worksheets we were to go over, we only got through 7. At the very END of the class, the other participant let it be known that he is hearing impared and usually needs to read lips. I think more questions need to be asked of participants before being able to sign up for group courses. The other participant clearly needed a one on one class and probably didn't get out of the class everything he needed either, by not indicating he needed more individualized attention.

Not only is it fun and educational to have Spanish conversation, but it’s great to meet new people. I really enjoy this course.

Spanish- Total Beginner was the just-right level for me. Adelina was a great tutor. She was supportive and patient, and always provided a mix of speaking, listening, and a variety of learning activities which helped me retain what I learned during class. I am planning on signing up for the next level soon.

It was amazing! I am looking for learning a new language to actually enjoy the learning process! Great crash course for someone with absolute no Italian background - and have a taste of the language to see if they would love learning Italian! Or for someone willing to travel to Italy! :) Also, the instructor is very welcoming, comforting and aware of what is on PDF what is not provided by ABC once you registered.

The class is just that, a crash course! It will help someone get excited about learning Italian and in my case it enticed me to pick up learning again!

I've enjoyed all the crash course workshops I've taken with with ABC Languages thus far, and Italian for Travelers is a real treat! My best friend and I took this class together remotely, and we learned a great deal in just 1.5 hours about Italian language, culture, and social customs. Giulia is a fantastic instructor, and I highly recommend taking this course with her.

The course was actually a sit in a class to see if it the right level. If the level was good, you use your $50 toward scheduling the course packages. Oddly, I went on the company website and contacted them about their Advanced-Beginner course which is the course I purchased on Coursehourse. It looks like the sit in is FREE, with the idea you can purchase the on going classes. The level was not a good fit. I would need a higher level. So I will have to come back to find another class. I would have avoided paying the $50 if I new this was a free option until I find the right fit. I have to reschedule for another session to find a level that works for me

This was such a helpful class! Elizabeth is a wonderful and skilled teacher who tailors this workshop for English speakers like myself who are beginner French learners but struggle with pronunciation. I highly recommend it!

It was great. Very useful and the instructor was fantastic. This is something I will be committed to do as soon I have more time to do more than once a week.

I really liked the class, I just wish it was maybe 30 minutes longer to make it easier to ask questions without feeling rushed

always like ABC!

Loved the instructor! I honestly wasn’t expecting much for an hour and a half course, so I’m not totally disappointed. However, I felt majority of the class was improvised on the spot based on attendee answers/questions, rather than a more structured plan of need-to-know scenarios for travelers. The resource guide that was provided outlines a lot of this, but would have been nice to go through more of it together for more context. Still helpful though! Grazie!

I enjoyed the class very much. The instructor Dmitri was of course very knowledgeable about the language, and also is a good teacher. He was well-organized, moved the class at an appropriate pace, and added interesting and useful information that is not in textbooks. The venue was comfortable and the class size was perfect. The course description accurately reflected the level of the class.

It's a rolling admission, so the high beginners really have to catch up on some of the basics. Half of the class was conversation-focused, and the other half more grammar and reading. Very convenient combination, and the pace is good too. The room was really cold though.

A fantastic class! The instructor was patient, articulate, creative in her approach, and hilarious. Her approach to the class was unique and she balanced teaching with wit and made me laugh at myself when I simply could not pronounce something. Refreshing to be in a class were curiosity and laughter are used as tools for learning. Will take again for sure.

The class was more advanced than I anticipated, all the more underscored by the number of sessions that this class already had together. That said, the instructor was quite pleasant and the class by and large had reached a level in which they could interact well with the lessons and the teacher. So.....I will take the Beginner II class which I think should prove reasonable. If there are materials/homework that was assigned at last meeting that could be emailed to me, I would review them. At first impression, the organization appears a combination of very good qualities: friendly, capable, earnest and professional. Thank you. See you on July 7. I thought this was great. There was only one other student in my class so the teacher made the lesson very personalized to where we were traveling. Only criticism was that the materials provided during class could use some revisions and it would be helpful to receive additional information on topics that couldn’t be covered during class time. Overall, definitely recommend this class for someone traveling to a non-English-speaking country and hoping to learn a few key words or phrases to help them get by.

I honestly wasn't sure what to expect but I was very impressed with the instructor and his ability to keep the class engaged. There were five of us in the conversation class, which gave us all enoug time to practice our French. I'll definitely come back!

The class itself is great! The 4 star instead of 5 is for coursehorse giving me a confusing schedule of 9am to 8pm. I waited outside the ABC language office from 9am to 9:30am only to find out that the first class is at around 10: 30am! The class itself is only one and a half hour long.
