John has been performing, writing, and directing at the Upright Citizen's Brigade since 2004. He's a producer and performer of Nights of Our Lives, a long running monthly storytelling show. He has directed one person shows by Jenny Slate, Jon Gabrus, Joe Mande, Andrea Rosen, Gil Ozeri, Nick Zimmerman, and Adam Wade. He is the co-creator of Showgirls: The Best Movie Ever Made. Ever! His one man shows, Themepark Superstar and Dances with Pitchforks: Confessions of a Farm Boy, have been performed at Caroline's Comedy Club, Joe's Pub, the Upright Citizen's Brigade Theater, and theaters in Los Angeles, Boston, and Key West, Florida. He has been published in The Daily News, Go Metric Magazine, and Worst Laid Plans, a book about Craigslist hook-ups.
