Ellen has been training dogs professionally since 2006. She specializes in puppy socialization and adult dog behavioral problems, and is passionate about helping people with high energy dogs find ways to give their pets fulfilling lives within the confines of a Manhattan apartment.

As the owner of Gracie, a sensitive and energetic rescued Border Collie, she has ample first hand experience with confronting behavioral issues. Her efforts with her own dog have helped shape her strong feelings regarding the importance of finding urban-friendly outlets for dogs, and her empathy for those who are dealing with dogs who have the kind of anxiety and reactivity that so many dogs struggle with in this city. Constantly immersed in continuing education programs, Ellen aims to help the human half of the dog training equation understand how dog training can be a fun, stress-free and effective lifelong process.
