What you'll learn in this mixology class:

Go beyond the garnish to explore the world of oleo-saccharums, infusions, simple syrups, and tinctures using plants and ingredients accessible to the urban gardener. You'll learn history and receive growing advice, as well as recipes. Jim will demonstrate how to make your own tincture to perk up your homemade cocktails!

Refund Policy

Refunds and Withdrawals

Students can transfer into an alternate section without penalty, provided that's done at the time of cancellation, and with sufficient notice. Classes in which material is being mailed to student, require a minimum of 2 weeks' notice for changes/cancellations.

Missed Classes

No discounts will be granted for missed classes. There are no refunds or credits 24 hours before a course begins. A refund will be issued if your class is cancelled due to low enrollment. If you wish to withdraw from a course before it begins, you must notify the Registration Office ten full business days before the first class meeting. We will issue a refund minus a $10 processing fee.

If you must withdraw fewer than ten days before the first class meeting:
No refunds will be granted for course levels 0–299 and 700–999
A 75% refund minus a $10 processing fee will be granted for course levels 300–699

Please note: Floral Design materials fees will not be refunded fewer than five (5) business days before class begins.

Very disappointing . Nothing to do with mixology for the holidays. I was expecting some recipes and interesting additions to holiday libations. Instead, I got some nice pictures of botanicals and slides , I received a presentation on the history of botanicals, explanation of infusions, tinctures & simple syrups without any recipes I could walk away with. The closest thing was the instructors recommendation to google them because he did not want to endorse a particular site. In conclusion, his teaching style of " What would the class like to do?" is absurd. A new fun topic , he should know what the material is and how to present it. A complete waste of time & $ and a real disappointment. Sincerely, Barry Infuso
