What you'll learn in this jewelry making class:
Starting a jewelry business doesn't have to break the bank. For those who are interested in trying their hand at making jewelry but don’t know where to start, Georgia Varidakis will lead students through the first steps of building a bench and the essential (inexpensive) tools they’ll need to do so. She’ll show them how to hand-cut shapes out of sheet metal and then use a micro-torch to solder earring posts onto each piece. Each student will leave with a finished pair of earrings.

- Sparkling wine will be provided for those who are 21+, but younger students may attend and will be served juice instead.
- Class Location Notes: Classes will take place at Artists & Fleas at 70 North 7th Street between Kent and Wythe Avenue in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. When you arrive at the market head to the back of the annex room (the one with the giant mural on one wall) or look for signs directing you to the Workshop Area.
Refund Policy
- Cancellations made at least 2 business days in advance of the class will be honored with a refund less 5% cancellation fee.
- Students who cancel less than 2 business days prior to the start time of the class will receive a credit towards a future class.
