Dan Pearson is a British landscape designer, horticulturalist, writer and gardener. He trained in horticulture at RHS Gardens’ Wisley, the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, Jerusalem Botanical Gardens and the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. Dan has designed a number of award-winning show gardens at the Chelsea Flower Show. His 2015 show garden was awarded a Gold Medal and Best Show Garden.

Midori Shintani is the head gardener of Tokachi Millennium Forest. Her passion for the Forest is deeply rooted in Japanese animistic and spiritual bases which reinforce the beautiful and sacred nature of the plants and landscapes. Her insights into ecological and management issues are deeply moving.
