Center for Nonprofit Advancement

The Center for Nonprofit Advancement expands professional development opportunities, access and capacity for nonprofit organizations throughout the Washington D.C. region and the Commonwealth of Virginia. We also help the region’s nonprofit organizations amplify their voice on issues that matter most.

We offer training and technical assistance classes, certificate programs, conferences and forums for leaders and staff at every level to increase performance and the impact of their services.

We create opportunities for nonprofits to collaborate and connect with each other as well as with philanthropic leaders, elected officials and the corporate community.

We serve as an advocate so local governments understand that nonprofits provide core services that hold communities together and support our collective efforts. The Center for Nonprofit Advancement uses its collective voice to speak out on District-specific and region-wide issues that are shared by nonprofits in our service area.

We offer high-quality, administrative and management assistance services that help nonprofits save money and operate efficiently.
