The Foodery is the brainchild of Chef Daniel Morduchowicz.

Originally from Argentina, with its own special mix of cultures, Chef Daniel Morduchowicz has lived in Los Angeles for the past 35 years where he has been exposed to its rich diversity of cuisines. This wide range of experiences influences and informs his food on a daily basis, enabling him to borrow ingredients and techniques from one another. He is passionate about cooking and sharing his knowledge. He aims to teach fundamentals to his students so they need not rely on recipes.

We offer events centered around food, including cooking classes and private dinners.

Chef Daniel was a great teacher. He explained things very clearly, including the reason for doing them, and was patient when he had to explain it more than once. Everything we made was delicious, and we have since made paella at home as well as the mushroom dish that we learned.

The class was great. Chef Daniel was informative, friendly and knowledgeable. He answered all our questions and taught us some valuable kitchen skills to take home and practice. We were introduced to some marvelous tapas and then got to enjoy the new dishes. The paella lesson was great the sharing of our efforts was very homey, at the end. Great day!!! Look forward to other classes with Chef PS you can include my first name only with the review
