Lauren Knuth

Teaches at Bird Rock Yoga

After graduating from the University of Colorado, Lauren spent ten years in the corporate world, not enjoying it much and doing a ton of yoga to compensate. After having two babies in two years, she and her husband were trying to adjust to life with small children and took a formal course in transcendental meditation. Within a week, she started noticing REAL changes in my life...she was less agitated in traffic, she wanted to play with my kids more and she felt truly connected to other people in ways she never had before. She was intrigued to say the least and have spent the last few years practicing, reading and listening to everything she can get her hands on about meditation and mindfulness practice. Lauren made a decision not to go back to my cubicle and instead pursue a career where she could practice doing what she love - teaching yoga & meditation.

Lauren have been practicing yoga for 12 years and obtained my 200hr RYT from Prana Yoga Center under the mentorship of Gerhard Gessner. She is currently teach yoga & meditation at San Diego State University, The Little Yoga Studio and for the County of San Diego.

Lauren is inspired by Sharon Salzberg, Tara Brach, Eckhart Tolle, her kids and her students.
