By now we all know that meditation is good for us. Study after study reveal that a regular meditation practice reduces stress, increases happiness, slows down aging and the list goes on. In short, meditation literally changes the way the brain works, allowing us to find more peace, balance and joy in our lives. Come learn the basics of meditation, how to cultivate your own personal practice and tips for staying present and mindful in your daily life.

What you will learn:
  • Introduction to Meditation - Understand different styles and best practices. 
  • Breathwork & Stretches - Learn a short routine of focused breathing and basic stretches which will calm your mind and prepare you for an optimal meditation. 
  • Sitting Meditation & Discussion - Meditate as a group and then share thoughts on the experience. Learn how to create your own personal practice. Discuss how the techniques we learn in meditation can be used throughout daily life.
