Lighting Refined: Color, Contrast, and Controls focuses on lighting techniques that enhance the appearance, comfort, and convenience of residential living.
Faculty member Daniel Blitzer is Principal of The Practical Lighting Workshop LLC, a consultancy in strategy, marketing, communication, and training since 1993.
In this role, Dan has served for 16 years as Principal Faculty, teaching at the Philips Lighting Application Center; has written Introduction to Lighting, a video course for the Illuminating Engineering Society, The Residential Lighting Manual for the American Lighting Association, guides on energy efficiency, and The First Hundred Years, a history of the Lightolier Company; and has presented at both LightFair and LEDucation.
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.
Refunds (less 5% cancellation fee) must be requested at least 6 business days prior to the first session or no refund is permissible.
Fees are nontransferable. Registration and technology fees (applied to credit-bearing courses) are nonrefundable, and a drop fee applies to dropped credit‐bearing courses resulting in a refund.
There are absolutely no exceptions to this policy.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
