Nǐ hǎo and welcome!
MANDARIN INTERMEDIATE: At this level you have been studying for at least 18 months perhaps longer but need some review. you should be able to hold a conversation regarding common things and topics related to your life. If you are ready to tackle more complex topics, grammar, and start working from the 2nd half of Integreated Chinese Chinese Book 2, this level is for you!
ABOUT OUR CLASSES: Our Mandarin group classes meet online once a week for 1.5 hours. Our approach to learning is a blend between a formal approach focused on grammar and the basic structure of the language and an interactive approach geared toward situations that promote verbal interaction among the students while building up vocabulary. The primary focus of our groups classes is conversation.
HOW TO JOIN A CLASS: We have a rolling admission policy which means, you will be joining one of our existing group classes that fits the level description above. PLEASE NOTE, this is not intended as a one-time class but rather the first in a series of classes. Here’s how it works:
STEP 1: Choose your preferred section and start date from the options below to pay your deposit and set up your first class.
STEP 2: You will receive a confirmation for your first lesson from ABC Languages.
STEP 3: If the class goes well, we will apply your $50 deposit toward the enrollment package of your choice and the class you attended will be considered the first one of your enrollment. If the group is not the right fit, there will be no charge for this first class and we will be happy to help you find an alternate group.

Remote Learning
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.

Refund Policy
- In order to receive a full refund less 5% cancellation fee, you must do so at least 8 business days before the class start date.
- Any subsequent withdrawal from a contracted course, for whatever reason, will result in forfeiture of the total cost of enrollment.
If you are in a class and cannot continue, please notify us of your situation as soon as possible so we can work with you to find a solution. We cannot credit you for classes you missed before notifying us or for a class scheduled to occur on the day you contact us.
If you miss a class during a 12-week enrollment, you automatically get a 13th consecutive bonus class added to your enrollment!
If you are unable to attend the 13th consecutive class, you forfeit your make-up lesson. Only the 12-week enrollment comes with a bonus make-up class.
