You will need a reliable Internet connection as well as a computer or device with which you can access your virtual class. We recommend you arrive at class 5-10 minutes early to ensure you're able to set up your device and connection.
This class will be held via Zoom unless otherwise specified
You will be guided to speak from the very first lesson while our instructors arm you with the tools you need to understand and absorb the language. Student goals range from wanting to learn some basics in preparation for a trip abroad to long-term language learners.
Our Total Beginner classes are designed for students with little or no background in the language. At the end of any enrollment, you always have the option of adding additional weeks to your program and continuing in your class as it progresses.
Required Materials: E-Z American Sign Language (Barron's Easy Way) Fifth Edition (ISBN-13: 978-0764144585)
NOTE: Your virtual Zoom classroom link will be sent along with your reminder the day before your class begins.
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.
