In this class we will discuss different types of essays such as argumentative, narrative, and compare and contrast. Students will be presented with appropriate ways to write an essay. Students will learn to write adequate thesis statement and will be presented with useful methods that will help them compose introductory, body, and concluding paragraphs appropriately.

This course will introduce students to the process and techniques of creative writing. Students will experiment with the four genres of writing: fiction, non-fiction, poetry and drama. Class reading and discussion will expose students to each genre, as well as examples of the successes and strategies of other writers. Take your sewing to the next level with the Advanced Level Sewing & Fashion Camp! We update projects every session so you won't be learning the same things or projects again!
Fabric and Supplies:
New projects for each weekly camp so you can register for multiple weeks! We focus on fashion sketching, design and sewing clothing and accessories on trend for the summer!
Course Duration: 5 days; classes will be broken up into 3 sections. 10-11am sewing, 11am-12pm fashion sketching and mood boards, 12-1pm lunch break while viewing a runway show during lunch (link provided). 1-2pm hand embroidery class. Classes will be recorded in case you miss a class or need to rewatch a project so you can finish on your own. You can request the recording each day after classes if you need to watch again.
Prerequisite: Virtual Fashion Camp, Kids after school or equal experience
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.
