Dan Kass

Teaches at General Assembly


Dan Kass is a web developer and technologist with a B.S. in Computer Science from Tufts University. He specializes in front-end engineering, data visualization, and human-centered design practices. He has developed and managed high-end digital experiences for clients such as Spotify, Time Inc, and the Gates Foundation. Currently, he is a co-founder and CTO at JustFix.nyc, a nonprofit tech startup that builds tools for tenants and organizers fighting displacement in NYC. Dan was a 2015 Engineering Fellow of the Blue Ridge Labs @ Robin Hood program, won the grand prize at the NYC BigApps competition, and was recently named to the Forbes 30 under 30 list in law & policy.

    I felt like it was a great introduction. He went a little faster than I liked but it allowed us to learn more in a few hours.
