Kaysee grew up outside of Los Angeles until moving to the Bay Area for undergrad. She majored in Environmental Science at UC Berkeley, where she wrote a thesis studying native bees in California agriculture. She graduated in 2013 with high honors and as a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Since then, she has completed a Master of Public Administration program at Columbia University, and is currently living in New York City, but missing the real Mexican food in California. Kaysee has been a dancer since the age of three, and performed with a local ballet company in Southern California before joining the Cal Dance Team at UC Berkeley and cheering for up to 72,000 football and basketball fans. In her free time, Kaysee likes reading, running, baking, and DIY crafts.
