Great class for a refresher. I highly recommend this class to those with experience in AutoCAD and in need to refresh their skills at an intermediate level.
It was good for the time allotted. I'm pretty sure if we had an extra hour we could've gone deeper into the nature of fabrics. I'd recommend this class for a person transitioning into fashion from a completely different career.
I took this class with Chris Papas and it was very well taught. Chris was a great teacher and was able to teach us a lot in just 4 classes. Every student learns at a different rate a chris was very mindful of that making sure everyone learned the lesson before moving on but still keeping those more advanced busy with other activities that they could do in order to practice their skills while waiting. I will be registering for another class with Chris for sure.
This was a great class to hear firsthand advice from someone who started her own pet product business. I especially appreciated all the handouts and tips we got -- I took tons of notes! -- and both will be ideal resources as I get started.
Excellent class. Highly recommend for anyone interested in the subject. Tara St. James is a great teacher.
The course was fine but seemed a little scattered at times.

It wasn't what I expected but still ended up being really good. A bit pricey for what it is but it was nice to get that half-FIT experience I felt I learned a decent amount though it wasn't really what the course description said it was. The professor was very good at teaching a bunch of students who are all at completely different paces of learning and let some students take on extra/different level projects than others to accommodate what they could handle. Esperanza e-mailed us a lot with what to bring so try to remember to check your email every day before class for your supplies list. I have been a knitter for almost my whole life but i have never tried to do much with it. This class helped me expand on what I knew and be more confident with my knitting. (I was originally upset with the professor leaving a half hour early every day but she realized that she had misread the schedule and gave us an extra 3 hour class at the end which gave +1 star. It was really great of her to give us that extra class in place of the couple of hours we missed)
Good for beginners, but not enough topics to cover 5 classes.
Very happy with the box we built, and the techniques we learnt.
The class was excellent. Isolina Perez is a patient and creative teacher. It's obvious that she loves to teach. I would definitely take more classes with her. My only "complaint" is that there is so much to learn and try that the class should be longer than 5 sessions.
