Excavator Certification

Programs available for beginner or experienced operators. Same day certified training available at our location or yours. Programs vary between one day or multi day courses.

Bring:

• Pen & Pad to write,
  
• Comfortable clothes,
• Construction boots preferably but not mandatory. No open toe shoes.
• No shorts.

What to expect:

• Some of the course will happen in our classroom setting which will include part lecture and film.
• Other training will happen in the range in real life settings with the machinery.

What is the difference between a compact & full size excavator?

Operationally they are almost identical. So training on compact will give you the skills to operate any size excavator. Job site requirements usually dictate which size is used.

Is backhoe an excavator?

In recent years, more contractors are opting for a mini hydraulic excavator instead of a backhoe loader. Both machines can benefit your project, but understanding your jobsite applications is the key to making the right decision for your job.

What is a compact mini-excavator?

A compact or mini excavator is a tracked or wheeled vehicle with an approximate operating weight from 0.7 to 8.5 tonnes. It generally includes a standard backfill blade and features an  independent boom swing.

What machine size will be used for training?

Typically we use a compact excavator. The training and techniques will still cover ALL size excavators. If you have your own full size machine we can train & certify at your location.
