FAST TRACK PORTUGUESE: This course is designed for students with little or no background in Portuguese who are already fluent in Spanish. Students who are fluent in Italian or French might also benefit from this class as well. In our 8-week course, you can expect to cover most of the present tense, negations, questions, and adjectives, as well as some past tense usage. Conversation topics include introducing yourself and basic biographical information using the present tense.

ABOUT OUR CLASSES: Our group Portuguese classes meet online once a week for 1.5 hours. Our approach to learning is a blend between a formal approach focused on grammar and the basic structure of the language and an interactive approach geared toward situations that promote verbal interaction among the students while building up vocabulary. The primary focus of our groups classes is conversation. Once you have completed the Level 1 course, you can move on to our a Level 2 class and beyond until you have reached your learning goals.
