Dungeons & Dragons "1st Edition" (Ages 11 - 16)

While the 5th edition of Dungeons and Dragons is the most commonly known and played nowadays, the game’s origins should not be forgotten. In this tabletop roleplaying experience, students will embark on an old-fashioned Dungeons and Dragons adventure using an updated version of the Advanced Dungeons and Dragons ruleset. Originally released in 1977, Advanced Dungeons and Dragons, commonly referred to as 1st edition, established many core elements of the game that would form the foundation for future editions. In this campaign, players will explore an ancient, forgotten desert full of exciting locations, dangerous creatures, and treasure galore. Since player characters are more fragile in this edition, the students will need to work together and play strategically if they are to survive the dangers of the Undying Sands.
