Description
What you'll learn in this kids writing class:
The word “ecology,” comes from the Greek word iokos, meaning house. Ecology is the study of our home. In "The Nature of Poetry," participants will observe and record our natural home, finding the poetry in the world around us. In addition to reading and writing poetry, we will explore, discover, and create pocket-pals, fairy dwellings, drawings of natural objects, and use all our senses to connect with nature through artistic expression and imagination. A week of field trips with a poetry focus will yield artful journals filled with creative experiments from which poems, and our minds, will grow.
Snacks will be provided, but students should bring a bag lunch.

Refund Policy
Refund is allowed; 90% refund up to the first class. If student does not like the class, they may transfer to another class if space is available. Refund after the second class will be 50% based on a pro-rated basis, decreasing by 10% with consecutive classes.
