Tools and Materials
- We recommend you buy your gold from Lee at Marco Polo
- You will need one half or one ounce of .9999 fine gold (you can get more if you are feeling flush)
- Bring your basic metalworking tools and anything you need (except gold) you can buy here, like a new alloying block, silver, copper, etc.
- Basic Metalworking Tools-Scissors, chain and round nose pliers, files, sandpaper, tweezers, dividers, soldering blocks, ruler, Sharpie marker, dowels, 2 dwt. fine silver for alloying, etc.
The studio has these tools to share so don’t bother bringing them:
- Saw blades and frames, hammers, tripods, large mandrels
