The instructor and the other class attendants were very warm and friendly. The instructor provided great exercises throughout the evening that helped us become aware of word fillers and other habits we have in communicating that should be avoided. I liked how we were all engaged with each other and used the examples she provided to challenge ourselves to listen to other, think on our feet and learn different ways to communicate according to the situation we’re in.

The class was wonderfully thought provoking and challenged us to shift the lens through which we view the world (and our roles in it) just a little more toward the edge of our comfort zone. We had a great group of women attendees and Alex (our fierce leader) was exactly what we needed. It was a solid first step toward the personal changes we want for ourselves!

I was fortunate to come into a small class of 4 people, as there was a lot of space for sharing. I appreciate how Alex (our instructor), was patient, listened well to us all, and guided us through some really great exercises. This was another great tool for me as I see the applicability of this topic in both interpersonal and professional settings. I hope there is a way to make this a 2 or 3-part course. Thank you very much!
