What you'll learn in this storytelling class:

This is our storytelling introduction course, that takes you from understanding the diversity of stories, to forming your own 5 minute story and telling it to a small audience.
You can view videos from our storytelling events on our YouTube channel and we have a podcast of stories from our classes at podcast.youtellyours.com.
Rest assured that we not publish any videos or audio of your story without gaining for your approval first.
This is our storytelling introduction course, that takes you from understanding the diversity of stories, to forming your own 5 minute story and telling it to a small audience.
- As soon as you sign up there is an online lesson with 5 short videos and some audio stories to get you started.
- Then you’ll meet with your class at the Sidewalk Studio for two classes using the storytelling exercises and advice of Lynn Ferguson to practice the skill of storytelling and find the story that you will tell.
- On the third class, the two classes join for a rehearsal, telling their stories to each other.
- Finally on Thursday January 26th at 7:30 pm, you’ll tell your story at the public storytelling event.
