Sensual Embodiment & Somatic-Expressive Dance

Somatic-artistic movement explorations, bringing attention primarily to our internal experience of dancing rather than to its external appearance. It helps you to cultivate a deep awareness of your body, personal rhythms, and innate sensuality, and to make sense of your experiences in an embodied way.

Our sense of self is strongly influenced by how our body interacts with the world. Positive and negative experiences affect body image and sense of identity. Negative experiences give rise to physical and psychological armors that restrict our movements and hinder our capacity to feel nuance of sensations and emotions, to imagine and dream, and to express ourselves.

This is a space to fully attend to your senses, emotions, imagination, intuitive wisdom, and spirit. We guide you from being caught up in thoughts, shame, judgment, performance anxiety, and limiting patterns, into inhabiting your body as it pulsates, feels, intuits, plays, and expresses, supporting deep presence, enhanced body image, self-esteem, and whole health.

This class/event takes place in our outdoor garden that's equipped with space heaters and blankets, please dress accordingly.
