What you'll learn in this wine tasting class:

Learn how to properly taste and evaluate wine in this fun and exciting wine tasting class. Taste six (6) wines from different wine growing regions across the globe. 

This class will focus on a deductive tasting approach: actively identifying a wine based on its sight, smell, and palate characteristics using an industry-standard deductive approach. We’ll learn what aromas are commonly found in white and red wines, the types of flavors that wine produces on the palate, and how to describe or review a wine. We’ll also discuss wine faults, quality levels, and production methods that influence the characteristics of the end product. 

Beginners and pros alike will enjoy this entertaining and engaging class.

This course falls under the Communication and Critical Thinking Institutional Level Outcomes (ILOs).  

Upon successful completion of the class, students will be able to:

  • Accurately identify a wine based on sight, smell, and palate
  • Develop the ability to differentiate various varietals, styles, and regions of Bordeaux
  • Learn common aromas and flavors found in white wines and red wines
  • Develop confidence to talk about or review a wine after tasting

  • No transfers.
  • No makeup sessions for missed classes.
  • Registrations are non-transferrable.
  • Refunds are issued within 2-4 weeks after request is received.

If we cancel a class we will notify you and a refund will be issued.

No refunds are issued for the Makeup Artistry program and Swim Lessons.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
