Description
Denver Parks & Recreation (DPR) provides a broad range of programs, services, facilities and park amenities in the City and County of Denver.
The City's park system encompasses more than 250 urban parks (5,000 acres) and more than 14,000 of pristine mountain park land. DPR manages 8 golf courses, 24 lakes, 80+ miles of trails, 10 dog parks, 2 bison herds and 300+ acres of public-right-of-way.
The recreation system includes 27 recreation centers, 16 outdoor pools and 13 indoor pools. Programming includes arts and culture, outdoor education, aquatics, sports and fitness plus out-of-school activities for youth.
