What you'll learn in this block printing class:
Learn to block print in this fun workshop with artist and surface pattern designer Sarah Bertochi. This 3 hour class will equip students with all the skills needed to create and enjoy making their own set of hand printed linen napkins.
You will create your own design (or use one that is provided) carve your block, and print using water based inks. Each student will receive (4) linen napkin "blanks" on which to print their design.
No experience in art or printmaking is necessary! This class is great for those who have never tried printmaking and want to learn a new craft. Class size is limited to 8 students.
Our workshop will take place at Arts Wayland.
All supplies are included - bring yourself and your enthusiasm to learn a new craft.
