Developing a cohesive fashion collection takes work and persistence. In this class you will explore the various steps in realizing a collection: going from research methods, through design, development, production, editing and presentation.
This knowledge would be useful for fashion students and anyone interested in developing his/her own fashion brand. The goal of this class is to provide you a glimpse and make you aware of how the development of a big collection happens, focusing on research, planning and manufacturing.
Do you want to understand the process of fashion design and learn the necessary abilities for the industry? Do you wonder how to construct and communicate your ideas? Or how to demonstrate a professional approach, while preparing your collection and the supporting portfolio? Learn how to develop a strong concept, how to broaden your personal exploration and experimentation, which eventually would result in a fine collection and a professional portfolio.
